Day 01: Early morning drive from Dhaka to Srimongal by car. Haut at Teliapara forest for first bird watching experience in Bangladesh. Explore the forest for some hours while spot some endemic avifauna species and some rare forest-birds like Bazas and Hornbills. You will be accompanied by a well versed and multi lingual who will assist you throughout the trip.
Packed lunch will be provided by the guide. Drive to your guest house post-lunch.
Overnight stay at Bangladesh Tea Board in Srimongal.
Day 02: Leave the guesthouse post-breakfast to visit the Lawacherra Forest. Observe the fascinatingly rare species of Pheasents, Hornbills, Forktails and Laughing-Thrushes.
Return to guesthouse for lunch. Start your bird watching again with the same forest post-lunch.
Return to guesthouse in the evening. Overnight stay.
Day 03: Early morning drive post-breakfast by car to Madhabkunda via Maulvibazar. Start your bird-watching in the exotic forest which is adorned with beautiful streams flowing through. It is a fascinating forest with interesting sights of small passerines, shy ground-dwellers, rare babblers and thrushes.
Enjoy a small visit to the nearby Hail Haor which is a group of natural depressed lands. They hold water almost round the year. Explore them while cruising in a country boat and try to spot some rare water bird species like Raptors, Jacanas and waders.
Enjoy a splendid evening drive to Dhaka. Arrive Dhaka late in the evening.
