The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, was authoritatively opened on 12 December 1998. The historical center is situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's traveler belt in the midst of the rich greenery of Perdana Botanical Gardens and inside strolling separation to the National Mosque, Bird Park and National Planetarium.

The historical center is the biggest exhibition hall of Islamic expressions in South East Asia with more than seven thousands antiques from the Islamic world.

The Islamic Arts Museum has 12 fundamental exhibitions which are ordered by sorts of ancient rarities spread over level 3 and 4. Level 3 of the historical center has the Quran and Manuscripts Gallery, Islamic Architecture Gallery, India Gallery, Ancient Malay World Gallery andremade Ottoman Syrian Room going back to the nineteenth Century. Guests can likewise continue upstairs to Level 4 which has a presentation of gems, material, arms and protective layer, earthenware production and in addition old Islamic china.
