Morning drive to Kyirong, the newly opened boarder and trade port in Tibet. On reaching Kyirong, check-in at hotel. The major attractions of Kyirong include Sino-Nepal Friendship Bridge and the snow-capped mountain around the border town. Stay the night in the hotel.
Next morning proceed to New Tingri. On the way, enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes sitting back in the car. Drive up, along Kyirong Tssangpu River, cross over Kongtanglamo Mountain Pass (5236 meters above sea level), pass by Peigutso Lake and its large pasture land, see Shixiabangma Peak (No.14 in the world) from afar, also No 1, Mt.Everest on the way (2 chances in the day). In the morning after an early breakfast, visit Tashilumpo Monastery (Largest one at Shigatse), then leave for Gyantse. It is a small historical town situated around Nyang Chu and Gyantse Plain Area. This town is home to the monastery featuring 1000 Buddha images making its very popular among the tourist. Visit PelkhorMonstery, Kumbun and Kumbun Stupa, and walk around the old tonw. In the evening enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast in the hotel, drive towards Lhasa, Visit Manla Reservoir, Karola Glacier, Enjoy the sight of yaks, busy villages, mountain sheep, and lakes while passing Yamdrok Lake, and Kamba passes.
