Bali Jakarta Tour
Jakarta, Indonesia's tremendous capital, sits on the northwest shore of the island of Java. A notable blend of societies – Javanese. Bali is an Indonesian island known for its forested volcanic mountains, notable rice paddies, shorelines and coral reefs.
Day 01: Arrive Jakarta
Welcome to Indonesia. A Southeast Asian nation made up of thousands of volcanic islands, is home to hundreds of ethnic groups speaking many different languages. It’s is known for its beaches, volcanoes and forests. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Later proceed for a city tour of old and new city of Jakarta visiting the central-National Museum (museum is closed on Monday), Sunda Kelapa fischer and local merchant’s harbour, Fatahillah Square with its old Town hall and glimpse of the National Monument. Followed by a brief stop at the Jalan Surabaya antique / flea market. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: In Jakarta- Bandung
Morning at leisure after breakfast. Afternoon visit Indonesia Miniature Park, which is a culture-based recreational area located in East Jakarta, Indonesia. It has an area of about 250 acres (1.0 km2). The park is a synopsis of Indonesian culture, with virtually all aspects of daily life in Indonesia's 26 (in 1975) provinces encapsulated in separate pavilions with the collections of Indonesian architecture, clothing, dances and traditions are all depicted impeccably. Apart from that, there is a lake with a miniature of the archipelago in the middle of it, cable cars, museums, Keong Emas Imax cinema, a theatre called the Theatre of My Homeland (Theatre Tanah Airku) and other recreational facilities which make TMII one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: In Bandung
Today after breakfast, morning at leisure. Later in the afternoon proceed to Angklung workshop at Padasuka village. This one-stop cultural workshop offers a complete experience around dangklung, Indonesia’s traditional musical instrument made of bamboo. Angklung is a bamboo musical instrument. Enjoy a full angklung and Sundanese dance performance. Saung Angklung Udjo/Padasuka adopts the philosophy of easy, affordable, educative, attractive, massive, and cheerful performances that are essence of their ultimate show called “Kaulinan Urang Lembur or villagers” playtime. The show is packed with spectacular short performances, commencing with wayang golek (wooden puppet) show, helaran (agricultural harvesting celebration) rites, traditional dances, kids games, introduction to angklung, angklung orchestral performance, interactive angklung performance that involves visitors playing angklung, and arumba performance. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Bandung- Yogyakarta
Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to board flight for Yogyakarta. On arrival proceed for city tour of Yogyakarta, which includes visiting Sultan’s Royal Palace (the Keraton), Sonobudoyo Museum (museum is closed on Monday), Batik home industry and Kota Gede silver works. Later transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Yogyakarta-Bali
Morning visit Borobodur – The Buddhist temple.
The monument consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome. The temple is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The central dome is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues, each seated inside a perforated stupa. It is the world's largest Buddhist temple, as well as one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. (If you would like there is a very simple hotel in the park that you can stay in. En route visit the smaller temples of Mendut and Pawon. In time transfer to airport to board flight for Bali. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: In Bali
Morning after breakfast proceed for a full day excursion of Kintamani, which is a village on the western edge of the larger caldera wall of Gunung Batur in Bali, Indonesia. It is on the same north-south road as Penelokan and has been used as a stopping place to view the Gunung Batur region. The highlight of this tour is the magnificent view of Mount and Lake Batur with the smoky Agung Volcano in the background. Enroute stops at Singapadu village to see the Barong & Keris dance performance, Celuk the centre of gold and silver works, Mas the centre of woodcarvings, Ubud is well known for their gallery of arts both wood carvings, painting, music and dances. Ubud the centre of Balinese paintings, Goa Gajah (elephant cave) and the holy springs of Tirta Empul at tampaksiring. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Depart Bali
Morning at leisure after breakfast. Afternoon proceed to Kedaton & visit the Monkey Forest – The monkeys in Alas Kedaton are very tame and free gallivanting in temple yard, so that the calm atmosphere is sometime solved by noise voice of the monkey, The monkeys who dwell in this forest, there are jump up and down in temple wall, take a bath in moat or there is also hang out in few leaves representing impression view, these monkeys are believed to be holy guardians of the temple Dalem Agung, which is a Bali Hindu Temple located in the middle of the Forest.
Followed by a visit to one of Bali’s most beautiful temples called Taman Ayun which remains from the Royal Mengwi Dynasty. On the way we visit Alas Kedaton (monkey forest) where you will find thousands of protected friendly monkeys. Tanah Lot, which is one of Bali’s most important sea temples, is built on the top of a huge rock surrounded by the sea at high tide. Beautiful silhouettes as seen at sunset. In time transfer to the airport to board flight for your onward destination.
