Vivo City is the biggest shopping center in Singapore. Situated in the HarbourFront region of Bukit Merah, it was composed by the Japanese modeler Toyo Ito. Its name is gotten from the word vivacity. As indicated by Mapletree administrator Edmund Cheng, VivoCity "summons a way of life experience that is cutting edge, animating and available to everybody, a place rising with vitality and streaming with essentialness". In December 2016, VivoCity was perceived by Forbes as one of the top shopping centers in Singapore.
